⚠ UV Damage Active
Every hour in the sun, UV radiation breaks down the plastics and vinyl inside your car. The cracking and discoloration that follow are permanent. A UV-blocking protectant slows that down, and one application holds for months.
Plastic and vinyl look solid. Under sustained UV exposure, they’re anything but.
UV breaks down the colorants in plastic and vinyl, causing irreversible bleaching. The dash, door panels, and trim lose their original tone, and the only fix after that is replacement.
UV breaks down the plastic itself, not just the color on top. The material gets brittle and starts cracking under normal use, and heat speeds that up.
A faded, cracked dash is the first thing anyone notices sitting in a used car, and it is one of the cheapest things on this list to prevent.
Clean surfaces first, then apply a UV-blocking protectant that bonds to the plastic and vinyl rather than sitting on top.
All hard surfaces are cleaned with a plastic-safe interior cleaner before any protectant is applied. Protectant applied over dust or oil doesn’t bond properly and streaks.
We apply a UV-blocking protectant to all dashboard, door panel, center console, trim, and pillar surfaces. The protectant absorbs UV before it reaches the underlying material.
Any excess protectant is buffed off to a clean matte finish. It should look clean, not greasy. No streaks, and no shine on surfaces that are meant to be matte.
