The fee is a percentage of the service, not a flat charge, so a smaller job carries a smaller fee. It exists to cover the drive and it is published rather than negotiated.

Book Now is instant online scheduling through our booking system. It is switched on for the ZIP codes we can reliably serve at short notice: all 27 San Francisco ZIPs, plus 94014 and 94015 (Daly City and Colma), 94044 (Pacifica), 94080 (South San Francisco) and 94066 (San Bruno).
Request a Quote covers everywhere else. That is not a soft no — we serve those areas regularly. It means the date gets confirmed by text rather than by an instant calendar, because a longer drive has to fit around the rest of the day's route.
If you are in a quote-based area, the fastest route is usually to text (415) 360-1964 with your car, your address and roughly what you want. We are open every day, 8 AM to 7 PM.
One thing worth being explicit about: you will not see a Book Now button on our Marin, southern Peninsula or East Bay pages. That is deliberate. Offering instant booking somewhere it does not apply and then rejecting the booking at checkout is a worse experience than saying so up front.
We are mobile only. There is no shop and no drop-off, and we bring our own water and our own power to every job, so nothing at the location is needed from you — no hose, no outdoor tap, no outlet.
In practice that means we work in street parking spaces, residential garages, apartment building lots, office parking structures and driveways. In this city those are the five situations that cover almost everybody.
You do not need to be present. Most customers hand over a key, a gate code, a lockbox code or a doorman's name. We text on arrival, text if anything comes up, and text when it is done.
The exceptions worth flagging in advance: a garage with a low height limit (tell us the clearance), a building with contractor rules (worth a quick check with your manager), and a street spot with a cleaning window during the appointment.
For all-day work like a ceramic coating, access to a power outlet is helpful but not always required, and we confirm that when arranging premium services.
