Carpet extraction
$25 per area, capped at $175 on a large vehicle rather than $125. Third-row and cargo carpets are usually the worst in the vehicle.
Everything takes longer, and that is the entire reason for the price difference. More glass, more carpet, more seats, more panels, more height to reach over. A large SUV or truck interior is $300 and a Full Package is $350.
The specific San Francisco complication is garage height. A lot of older buildings here have clearances that a full-size truck or van cannot use, which affects where the appointment happens rather than whether it can.
Two of the vehicles in our documented job set are a Grand Highlander and a Tacoma, both full details, in Pacifica and Twin Peaks.
| Band | What it covers | Interior | Full Package | Exterior |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Sedan / coupe | Saloons, coupes, hatchbacks, small crossovers | $229 | $279 | $100 |
| Midsize SUV | Two-row SUVs and crossovers, mid-size estates | $250 | $300 | $125 |
| Large SUV / truck | Three-row SUVs, full-size trucks, vans | $300 | $350 | $150 |
If you are unsure which band applies, tell us the make and model when booking and we will confirm. Better sorted out beforehand than discovered on the day.
A Full Package on a standard vehicle is 3.5 to 5 hours. On a full-size SUV, truck or van it is closer to 5 to 6. The extra time is not padding, and it is worth knowing where it goes.
The third row and the cargo area. A third row is two or three more seats to vacuum, more seams, more seat rails, and a cargo carpet that is often the dirtiest surface in the vehicle. Folding seats up and down to reach underneath is its own job.
Glass. A three-row SUV has substantially more glass than a saloon, and the rear quarters and tailgate glass are awkward angles.
Panel area. A truck has a great deal more painted surface than a Civic, and every step — wash, decontamination, correction, protection — scales with area.
Height. Roofs and upper panels on a tall vehicle need steps and reaching, which slows every pass and makes consistent technique harder.
Wheels and arches. Bigger, deeper, and usually dirtier.
This is also why correction adders scale by size: a one-step is +$250 on a sedan and 1.5× that on a large SUV or truck, because the panels genuinely take that much longer.
$25 per area, capped at $175 on a large vehicle rather than $125. Third-row and cargo carpets are usually the worst in the vehicle.
$100 on a large vehicle. Big cargo areas with carpeted floors are the worst material in any car for holding hair.
$125 on a large vehicle. More panel area means more embedded contamination, and bigger brakes throw more iron.
$100 on a large vehicle. Trucks and SUVs carry far more unpainted plastic than saloons, and it is the first thing to go gray.
$45 on a large vehicle. More seats, and family SUVs take more abuse per seat than most cars.
$75 flat at any size, which makes it comparatively good value on a big engine bay.
Band, garage clearance and cargo load are the three things that shape a large-vehicle appointment, and all three are easier to sort out in a text than on arrival.
A Full Package on a large SUV or truck is $350 and runs 5 to 6 hours. You do not need to be there for it.
